SENS Announces Major Feature Enhancements To EnerGenius IQ Platform
October 15, 2009, Longmont CO. SENS (Stored Energy Systems LLC) today announced significant enhancements to its award-winning EnerGenius IQ line of industrial and utility stationary battery chargers. Included in the upgrade are CE marking, Modbus and USB communications, digital load sharing and easy field firmware upgradeability to enable future expansion of the charger’s capability without hardware upgrade.

Tech Note - Cold Weather and Genset Batteries
Battery blanket heaters are frequently used during winter in cold climates to keep starting batteries from freezing and improve cranking performance. In cold temperatures chargers with local temperature compensation increase output voltage because their onboard temperature sensor is cold.
