An alternative for low power non-stop DC power
Although filtered chargers are ideal for most non-stop DC power applications, unfiltered chargers can sometimes save cost in low power applications without sacrifice in reliability. If a relatively large battery (e.g. 100 AH battery with a 10A charger) is used the battery can provide considerable filtering of the charger’s output.
SENS lower cost unfiltered chargers offer the same battery life advantages as our filtered units, including battery temperature compensation and precision voltage regulation.
SENS lower cost unfiltered units are offered in 12, 24 and 32-volt outputs. Most models are UL or C-UL listed:
- LC is rated at 3.5 amps
- FC offers outputs of 6 and 10 amps, and is available with a comprehensive alarm system
- NRG is available in 10 and 20-amp outputs, and includes complete field adjustability, digital interface, unmatched agency compliance and a battery fault monitoring system
