Integrated Engine Starting System

For mission critical gensets, the SuperTorque® 8Z has revolutionized industrial engine starting. The new SuperTorque® 8ZR is a complete system. It radically increases engine starting reliability, frees up significant space in engine enclosures, eliminates battery maintenance and replacement, and makes specification and installation of the entire engine DC system so much simpler.

Genset Starting Problems Solved with One Integrated Solution


The integrated racking, best battery selectors, alternator and engine panel power redundancy, and DC disconnects allow engine manufacturers, integrators, dealers, and datacenters to specify the entire engine DC system with a single part number.

Our SuperTorque® 8Z is included, with its powerful high-performance nickel-zinc (NiZn) battery and embedded MicroGenius2 SENS charger, optimized for NiZn charging. The charger accepts universal AC input (100-240 volts, 50 or 60 Hz) via either IEC 320 connector and cord or hardwired conduit.
